Freisa is a historic Piedmont grape and a close relative of Nebbiolo, typically showing bright red fruit, floral aromatics and firm tannins, often with a slightly wild, rustic charm

The wine opens with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, layered with notes of rose, spice and a hint of earthy savouriness. On the palate it is medium-bodied and lively, with bright acidity and fine tannins framing juicy red fruit and a slightly rustic edge. There’s a gentle grip and a touch of bitterness on the finish - classic Freisa - giving the wine both personality and food-friendly appeal.
