Lock & Worth Cabernet Franc Rosé - Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, Canada
Bright, energetic and a little bit wild (in the best way), this rosé leans into Cabernet Franc’s naturally vibrant character, opening with cranberry, pomegranate and pink grapefruit, layered with orange peel, fresh herbs and a subtle floral lift. There’s a lightly savoury, almost peppery edge beneath the fruit that gives it real personality. The palate is crisp and zesty, driven by lively acidity, with a juicy core and a gently textured, slightly cloudy feel that speaks to its unfined, unfiltered style.
Made with a short period of skin contact to build colour and grip, then fermented primarily in stainless steel with a portion aged in neutral oak, it balances freshness with subtle depth, finishing long, tangy and refreshing with a citrusy, lightly bitter twist.
Grape Variety: Cabernet Franc
Style: Rosé – Dry, fresh, medium-bodied, low intervention
Drink Window: Now – 3 years
Perfect For: Charcuterie, grilled prawns, salads, picnic fare, aperitivo
A benchmark for serious, characterful rosé - vibrant, savoury and just a little bit rebellious.
