La Pépie - Côt Merlot

Origin: Château-Thébaud, Sevre et Maine, Loire Valley, France
Blend: côt (malbec)/ merlot

Producer's Notes: This special cuvée is produced with Côt, also named Malbec in other places. This grape variety used to grow in Nantes area’s vineyard during the 20s and 30s. It has disappeared since then. Part of the vineyard of “Domaine de la Pépière” was replanted with plants coming from old vines of Clos Roche Blanche in Touraine.
