Textural, expressive and full of Swartland personality, Wolf & Woman Chenin Blanc balances ripe fruit with freshness and a distinctly savoury edge. It opens with aromas of pear, quince and yellow apple, alongside notes of citrus blossom, honeycomb and dried herbs. The palate is vibrant and layered, combining juicy orchard fruit with bright acidity and a subtle waxy texture that gives the wine both depth and drinkability. There’s a lovely mineral streak running through the finish, adding tension and keeping the fruit beautifully focused.

Made by winemaker Samantha O’Keefe from dry-farmed bush vines rooted in Swartland’s granite and schist soils, the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and handled with a light touch in the cellar. A portion sees time in older oak barrels, building texture without obvious oak flavour, while the focus remains firmly on vineyard character and Chenin Blanc’s natural versatility. The result is a wine that feels simultaneously generous and precise - classic modern South African Chenin.
